A cottage shaped by place, history, and a love of things reclaimed, reused, handmade, and beautifully imperfect. Mismatched plank walls, antiques, vintage furnishings, and functional pieces come together to create a home that feels collected over time rather than newly designed.
What you can’t see in these photographs is the extent of the renovation. The cottage was transformed from seasonal use to a fully functioning year-round home, with central air and all major systems completely renovated or upgraded—including heating, electrical, plumbing, and security.
The goal was simple: preserve the character and spirit of the original cottage while quietly bringing everything behind the walls into the present day.
A little Stockholm. A little Driftless. And a lot of history, carefully carried forward.
