Our house feels very cozy and homey to us. The hardwood floors and built-in cabinets are a beautiful and classic touch. We also love the second story. It’s so big and functional—it’s really three rooms in one. It’s one of the top reasons we bought the house in the first place! The kitchen is another reason we love our house. In comparison to many of the other houses in our neighborhood, our kitchen is spacious and the new appliances are great for us since we cook and bake all of the time! When we aren’t cooking at home, we love that we’re in walking/biking distance of some of our favorite restaurants in South Minneapolis (al Vento, Sea Salt Eatery, Cap’s BBQ, Parkway Pizza and La Dominguez). Being so close to Lake Nokomis has been great as well. In the summer, our softball team played at Bossen Field so it was nice to walk the two blocks over every week.
