This home is very private and serene. It's like having your very own park complete with a small apple orchard, raspberries, blueberries and ancient oak trees. The expansive front porch has been the site of many family/friend gatherings, graduations, and music jams. It even has a hanging swing and new landscaping! We also love the large kitchen/dining/great room area as it also makes for great entertaining and family dinners. There is a walk-in pantry with ample space, shelving, and room for a second freezer. The master suite is large, private and comfortable with a beautiful master bath and walk-in closet. The walk-out basement is finished with a lovely wood stove where we cuddle up in the winter to watch a good movie or football game. There is lots of space for entertaining here too with a rustic wet bar of beautiful oak. Behind the barn door, a custom wine cellar with room for 450 bottles. Another door leads into a huge storage area. The back yard is like heaven; quiet and beautiful. The garden shed is so cute and we love sitting on it's little front deck on summer evenings. The garden shed also has a very nice insulated chicken coop. The tack house was originally an old summer kitchen or spring house. It is adorable and has been quite useful for storing horse equipment and the hitching post next to it makes for a very handy saddling and grooming local. The pole barn has made horse chores very nice over the years. There are 3 stalls and ample hay storage space. Our horses had a dry lot and 2 very nice pastures to graze. There is also a freshly painted arena of sand where we spent countless hours riding and training. The back yard also hosts several raised garden and flower beds. There is a trail for walking or skiing through the woods and the hunters in the family have had many successful hunts out back. This has been a wonderful hobby farm to raise our children!
